Why Does My Baby Shudder

Test altazimuth mount-t sky

Innamoratomi lost the extreme simplicity of the altazimuth mount as soon as I spotted the t-sky, an alt-az mount with two axles that can hold as many as 7 and 15 kg, only 399 euro not I think of two times to buy it, especially after reading the enthusiastic comments of John Bruno about it.
The frame came in a very short time, as usual and the first thing Tecnosky che si nota prendendo in mano anche solo l'imballo è che pesa molto meno della testa equatoriale della HEQ5.

Al tramonto ho cominciato a montare il tutto, and shortly after I was already operational (what a joy not having to waste time aligning polar!).
the evening of the test was damp and veiled, but with better seeing. As with those veils
moonlight spreads more in practice I have only observed the Moon, which still is an excellent testing ground to test the stability of t-sky.
The C8 had not acclimatised, but with the 80ED was already under observation and so installed and now the newcomer, the 12 mm flat field Tecnosky, with the other newcomer, the variable polarizer.
giving the classic tap to check the vibrations throughout expires in less than a second, same thing to 200X
After a couple of hours I wanted prove the Orthoscopic 6 mm with 2X barlow apo on C8 for a total of 676X! Of course I know that my C8 does not hold such magnification, but still curious to see how it behaves the t-sky was strong: damping 0 (zero!) seconds. in circulation as soon as it was before the flick came back all at once! Fantastic right?

recommend this mount to anyone who wants to view. Let alone the equatorial if not photographed, not just a matter of convenience: un'altazimutale dampens vibrations in less than seconds and is more robust, with HEQ5 at 676X I could not even touch the focuser.
