I giveaway ormai impazzano ovunque e anch'io, come I guess most of you, I fell into this vortex glitzy and fashionable.
For the uninitiated, giveaway is a term designating a kind of 'competition' (or contest if you prefer) in which one who announces the giveaway, usually the owner of a fashion-blog, is giving away a or more articles of various kinds: handbags, shoes, accessories, products for the makeup, discount coupons for use at stores online and off, etc..
participants to be eligible to join the contest (and then have the chance to win prizes), usually have to subscribe to certain sites that are supporting the blog owner indicating the giveaway ( Facebook, Bloglovin ', Google connect ) and comment on the giveaway post leaving their data (name, email and sometimes the url of your blog).
With a Random, by including the number of comments left in the giveaway post, the blog owner or determine the winners.
The giveaway, as I said, apart from being a gimmick really nice that involves the reader / follower even more, is also a subtle and effective way to advertise your blog or to friends, not to mention the benefits accruing to the sites partners who often offer products that are in the giveaway.
As I said, I too fall 'into the trap' and a month I participated in this part some giveaway, with poor results so far! But I do not lose heart)
