Rn# 56323 Nike Jacket

Evening

us amateurs, you know, exploiting any evening with clear skies, and this is what I did yesterday, despite the adverse conditions.
Luckily we are in summer, the sun sets late, and then leaves me time to dine quietly, and watch the game, meanwhile gradually out of port equipment: the mount the table, electrical wiring ... and when I set the dark polar tracking, then I put on my nice HEQ5 Tubone 8 "and 6 kg.
I have to wait at least an hour, so I scan a po'il sky, and I realize now that the stars twinkle a lot not good, and that transparency is very low, but I want to see, I said and I will.
At about 22:40 I start to observe, align the finder bad it will be shortly replaced by a 50 mm , collimation tool to Arturo and I on the same star alignment, well-managed.
Since we are over there now began to M3, close to beautiful globular boote.
A 81 X appears as a mist, but looking good can be solved in part almost to the core, the next thing I did with the eye, a Orthoscopic by 12.5 mm.
With this eye clutter filled the whole visual field, appearing quite bright and resolved completely, same thing for M5.
Data transparency is not in favor of M51 do not know why I bet you could see the two nuclei and the slight bulge of the galaxy major, but with difficulty.
MMI realized that it was better to move on.
always beautiful in the lira and the two planetary nebula in Vulpecula M57 and M27, in a little 'I should get a UHC filter that dramatically improve the vision of these objects.
A constellation that overflowing of the globular ofiuoco, I looked into it at a profit M9, M10, M12, M14 and M19, before moving to the legendary M13.
already solved by Plossl 25 mm, it becomes a spectacular 160 X with distortion-free, but the vision is best at 68 degrees fornitami dall'hyperion 17 mm. A result with the same eye but at f20 with a focal length of the apo barlow gives a negative result, the seeing is poor and does not let me go further.
E 'L'1: 30, the horizon that interests me, the south is completely clouded, as if this were not enough there is the almost full moon that illuminates further the sky, so carry it all in and go to sleep, waiting forward to the star party forum coelestis del 10-11 luglio.

Math Resource Studio Online

29/6/2010 Unitron Italy

Li vicino si trovano tra SCT: un C8 messo a terra (poverino, we hope that no one will give him a kick in error!), an 8 "fork altazimuth Meade (I do not know that series, I think LX90), and the new etx 6", in short, the telescope if you do not want to do anything, and I do not like this because it is a tele suited to use only visual scheme despite advanced coma free, expensive and ipermegasupercomputerizzato, by pointing to science fiction and tens of thousands of objects in memory, which obviously will never miss the space.
But perhaps, the more that caught my attention for the price and manageability still relatively affordable was the TEC 160 triplet on CGEM, an apochromatic refractor among the best in U.S. Celestron mounts on a world class one EQ6 but with better electronics, but of course I did not ask the price, certainly too high, but I tried the focuser, the legendary feather touch (I think) a 4 ", really a monster fluidity and elegance.
In another room there were more affordable tools: One I was very intrigued by the strangeness of the optical, three I liked, the other is like what I have (the altazimuth 80ED ) and others were small catadioptric.
From these, one was the small NexStar C5, one of the photographers of eclipses, and the other on its new rival, the 127 mak SynScan, both are nice but better apo as my manual.
The three that I liked were: SW 12 dobson "autotraking, the MN 190/1000 acre and a 100mm refractor f13, 3.
The Dobsonian was beautiful and I expected a little smaller in size. The mak
newton was miraculously straight up from a HEQ5, with whom Ra from his best ever, especially in photography.
The refractor was very nice and well done, especially the focuser Baader Planetarium.
tool turned out to be a strange old project polarex Unitron-80s, a 102 mm refractor with two mirrors rendrelo more compact, since the classical achromatic long aroused problemini size.
Outside I had a chat with Adrian and ras, two great astronomers.
Adrian has an impressive collection of refractors in an 8 "f12, who knows that stuff ... observe
When Andrea is free we tend to see upstairs, which displays two instruments used: a magnificent TEC 140ED on Astrophysics 600gto by price quite affordable, and a beautiful Zeiss achromatic refractor of 10 cm, a true jewel of optics and mechanics.
Azz, refractor ... damn
